100th Day Crafts for Kids
Get ready to dive headfirst into the 100th Day of School, as you unleash your students’ creativity, with these five 100th Day crafts for kids! During our 100th Day of School celebration, I have the students rotate between a variety of stations, integrating the core subject areas along the way. Although they enjoy every 100th Day center they visit, I know the crafts are always a crowd favorite. Today, I am excited to share five 100th Day of School crafts that are low prep and easy-to-assemble for kindergarten and first grade students!
100th Day Gumball Crafts
First up is this giant 100th day gumball machine craft. This one is so simple to prep! Plus, the student get to use bingo dotters to dot each number as they whisper count all the way to 100!
Over the years, I have found it helpful to switch colors every time they hit a new group of ten. For an added challenge, you could also have them switch colors for every group of 20.
100th Day Crown Crafts
A party isn’t a party without a crown, especially in preschool or kindergarten! On the 100th Day, I have the kiddos make a 100 Days Smarter crown. These crowns are no prep, and can be completed independently!
First, the kiddos color the school house and sequence the numbers by 10s. I use strips of construction paper cut 3โณ x 18โณ. Then, I measure around their heads and staple. The school house adds just enough length so that the crown fits perfectly around their heads.
100th Day Number Crafts
The creativity is endless with this craft! There is a bit of prep for this one, but not much. Simply die cut the numbers 1, 0, 0 for each student.
With the three numbers and a large sheet of construction paper, the students arrange and glue the numbers on their paper. Next, they will complete their picture by drawing around and incorporating the numbers to create a picture. Student imaginations truly run wild with this one, and I always love to see their unique creations!
100th Day Directed Drawing
Of course, I have to include a directed drawing as part of our 100th day celebration!
For this directed drawing, the students will learn how to draw a 100 year old man or woman. There are eight simple steps with easy to replicate lines that build upon each other.
After their drawing is finished, I like to have them go over the lines with a black marker before coloring their 100 year old person.
100 Year Old Crafts
If you’re looking for the perfect 100th Day bulletin board, this 100th Day craft is a must! The students create a 100 year old craft; and then, complete a writing prompt. This writing prompt is added to the belly.
The students can choose from 4 different writing prompts, which include a space for writing and drawing.

As a dedicated Kindergarten teacher for nearly 20 years, I believe the words “fun, play, and creativity” can sit right alongside the words “developmentally appropriate, engaging, and rigorous.” Learning is meant to be fun and messy!
