How to Assemble the Slime Kit with Free Slime Gift Tags
Assembling the DIY slime kit for the end of the year student gifts is simple and quick!
First, grab a disposable cup. A plastic soup container works perfectly, as it provides just enough height so that the slime mixture doesn’t spill over the sides!
The students will use this cup to mix their DIY slime in, but… for the purpose of the slime gifts for students, the cup will act as the container for holding all of the materials.
At the bottom of the cup, I like to add a handful of paper shreds.
Next, I place a bottle of glue, as well as a mini squeeze bottle with contact solution, inside the slime kit.
Then, I add baking soda and foam beads to small, zippered baggies.
I also insert a plastic spoon, along with an empty slime container. The students can decorate these containers with Sharpie markers or stickers. You could also skip the slime container to cutdown on expense.
For the final step, I tuck the recipe card inside the cup and then attach the slime gift tags.
For my slime gifts for students, I placed the entire cup and contents inside a colored party favor bag. Then, I adhered the large “It’s summer slime!” label to the front of the bag.
I send the slime kit home with students during our end of the year party, but the last day of school works well too!
