Halloween Play Dough Kit Materials

Simply fill your Halloween play dough kits with play dough and a few sensory friendly items.

• Googly eyes

Halloween Play Dough Kit Mats

There are three different Halloween play dough kit mats. Students can choose “Build a Spider,” “Build a Monster,” or “Build a Pumpkin.”

You can choose to pre-package the play dough kits and gift them to your students at your classroom Halloween party, or you can set them up as one of your Halloween party stations.

I tend to pack the kits ahead of time, including all three mats and a variety of play dough friendly loose parts.

The cheapest place I have found to purchase individual cans of play dough in a particular color is Walmart.

For the “Build a Monster” mat, the students will need play dough, pipe cleaners, a paper straw, and lots of Googly eyes.

If the students choose the “Build a Pumpkin” mat, they will need play dough, black beads, Googly eyes, and pipe cleaners.

For the “Build a Spider” mat, the students will need play dough, pipe cleaners, a paper straw, some glitter Pom-Poms, and Googly eyes.

Halloween Play Dough Student Gift

I have found the easiest way to package these adorable Halloween play dough kits is with a clear cellophane bag tied with jute twine. A zippered storage baggie works great too!

Not only do these individual Halloween play dough kits make great student gifts, they also make a fun DIY Halloween party favor!
