5 End of the Year Crafts
Memory Book Backpack Craft
This simple-to-assemble memory book backpack craft is a great way for students to reflect on the school year. With twenty-five printable pages to choose from, you can easily customize the memory book to suit your students’ needs.
Before completing this end of the year craft, I love to read A Letter From Your Teacher: On the Last day of School by Shannon Olsen.
This heartfelt read-aloud inspires a class brainstorming session, where we compile a list of our favorite school year memories on anchor chart paper.
Next, we begin working on our memory book pages. I like to complete one or two pages per day until all are finished and ready to be assembled into a book.
Last, we assemble our backpack cover and staple the pages in order.

This is one of those end of the year crafts that also makes an adorable bulletin board display for all to enjoy!
Graduate Craft for Preschool & Kindergarten
Preschool or Kindergarten graduation is a bittersweet milestone! While students are eager to move on to the next grade, they also feel the sadness of saying goodbye to their friends, teacher, and classroom.
This end of the year graduate craft memory book is a meaningful way to celebrate their journey and reflect on all the wonderful memories made throughout the year.

Before diving into our graduate craft, I love to read one of these books: The Night Before Kindergarten Graduation, The Berenstein Bears’ Graduation Day, and Goodbye Preschool, Hello Kindergarten.
After reading these books, students are excited to complete their graduate craft. With three craft options to choose from, customizing this craft to best fit the needs of your students is easy!
Once the printable pages are complete, students assemble their graduate craft, creating a keepsake that doubles as an adorable hallway display—perfect for your graduation ceremony.
Memory Book Crafts
If you are looking for a more traditional memory book, this square memory book craft and standard memory book craft are the perfect keepsake! They provide a fun and meaningful way for students to reflect on all the wonderful moments shared throughout the year.

Both of these end of the year memory books include forty-eight template pages making them easy to customize! The main difference is the size of the books.
The square memory book is 8 x 8 inch and is intended to fit the square booklets found at Target or Michael’s; whereas, the standard memory book is 8.5 x 11 inch.
Similar to the backpack craft and graduate craft, I like to have students work on one to two pages per day.

After all of the pages are complete, we assemble our memory books. For a step-by-step guide, check out this post!
These end of the year crafts are a great memento to share with parents at your end of the year celebration!
Summer Bucket List Craft
Get students excited for summer vacation with this adorable summer bucket list craft!
After reading a variety of summer vacation read alouds, generate a list of summer bucket list ideas on anchor chart paper.
Next, students will create their own summer bucket lists! They can choose to complete a single writing prompt, craft an entire book, or design a flip book.

Once their pages are finished, they’ll assemble their bucket and attach their lists—creating a fun and meaningful keepsake to kick off their summer adventures!
End of the Year Crowns
For a super simple end of the year craft, these personalized end of the year award crowns are a must!
These end of the year crowns are a great way to celebrate your students’ unique qualities and characteristics!

Personalize each crown with the editable template before printing on white copy paper.
Once they are printed, have students to decorate their crowns with crayons, markers, or colored pencils. You can even get out additional craft materials like stickers, pom pom balls, and dare I say glitter!

These award crowns can be worn during your end of the year party, at your awards ceremony, or on the last day of school!
