8 Free Parent Thank You Cards from Teachers
Share this Post

You did it! You made it to the end-of-the-year! Whether this is your first year teaching or your eighteenth, getting to the end of the school year is no easy feat. This accomplishment would not be possible, without the help of parents and guardians. To show my appreciation for all of their hard work and time helping their child continue to learn, I created these parent thank you cards from teachers. You can grab all eight thank you cards for FREE at the bottom of this post!

Parent Thank You Cards
I like to send these parent thank you cards out during the last week of school. Of course, these thank you cards for parents wouldn’t be complete without a little play on words. I mean… the punnier, the better!

Saying “thank you” doesn’t need to be elaborate. A simple thank you card for parents goes a long way. It may be a small token of appreciation, but sending a parent thank you card sends a powerful message. I know parents appreciate this simple gesture!

How to Prep and Deliver Parent Thank You Cards
You can choose to send these parent thank you cards home in student backpacks at the end of the year, or you can mail them home the week following the last day of school.
I like to print the cards on card stock for extra durability, but regular printer paper works just as well.

There are four cards per sheet, including a color version and a black and white version.

For an added personal touch, you can also choose to write a note on the back of each card.

As a dedicated Kindergarten teacher for nearly 20 years, I believe the words “fun, play, and creativity” can sit right alongside the words “developmentally appropriate, engaging, and rigorous.” Learning is meant to be fun and messy!
