I was worried my kids would be all turkey(d) out but they loved making these for Math and being able to move the dots on and off. I had these for a few days work of work and then I gave them the choice of gluing the on or of taking home a bag of dot to show their parents and I actually had 14 of 16 students wanting to take them home to show parents!!! It is amazing how kids want to show parents what they are working on at home. I love it

I found this resource after attending a math webinar with Greg Tang. The turkey tail feathers are PERFECT for practicing decomposing ten. My children love them and want to keep practicing with them even “after Thanksgiving.?” This is a beautifully created enrichment Ms. Sharp. Thank you from our entire class!

This was a perfect way to end our unit on number bonding. The students were engaged, chanting the poem, and could not wait for their turn to spill the counters. Any of my students who were struggling with this concept, are now right on track with the rest.
