Editable Picture Name Puzzles for Name Practice

Name activities play a crucial role in the early development of preschool and kindergarten students. These name practice activities provide an excellent foundation for letter recognition and phonemic awareness, laying the groundwork for future reading and writing success. At the beginning of each year, I create these name puzzles for my students. The picture provides just the right amount of support for those students who need a little extra practice sequencing the letters in their name. Not only are they self-correcting, but they also help build left to right progression. The kiddos absolutely love seeing their picture as they assemble their name.
