Extraordinary Gift Tag Freebie

I like to give my team a little back to school gift to help show how much I appreciate being on such an awesome team! Team gifts are also a great way to help establish and strengthen a cohesive bond. Each year, I rack my brain on coming up with the perfect, inexpensive gift. Our team includes 10 teachers, so I try to think of something that won’t break the bank, yet shows I appreciate them. I’m absolutely in love with this Take Note Our Team Is Extraordinary gift tag!
EXTRAORDINARY GIFT TAG FOR TEAM
This year’s gift was a combination of Extra gum and notepads from last year’s Target Dollar Spot. I scored the blue baker’s twine from the Dollar Spot this summer. Since I’m a sucker for a good pun, I had to reference both the notepad and Extra gum on my EXTRAordinary gift tag.
I always sneak these team gifts into school either the night before or bright and early on the first day. Most times, I prop them up on each teacher’s door handle so that they see it as soon as they get to their classroom that morning.
EXTRAORDINARY GIFT TAG FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL
Of course, I couldn’t forget to give our office secretaries a little something EXTRA on the first day too. For their gift, I used the same Extra gum and added some notepads from Hobby Lobby, a pen from the Target Dollar Spot, and the same EXTRAordinary gift tag.

As a dedicated Kindergarten teacher for nearly 20 years, I believe the words “fun, play, and creativity” can sit right alongside the words “developmentally appropriate, engaging, and rigorous.” Learning is meant to be fun and messy!
