With the beach theme centers from The Case of the Beach Bandit End of the Year Escape Room, your students will be highly engaged as they complete 6 or 8 different challenges to eliminate the suspects and discover who has stolen the missing beach bag!
These beach theme centers can be used for a Beach Day, an End of Year Party, a Beach Day Escape Room, or end of the year themed math and literacy centers.
Make the end of the year a memorable (and learning-filled) celebration with these beach day end of the year escape room activities!
Set the stage with a note from a beach goer:
I had a beach day,
Scheduled and planned.
But first I need you,
To lend a hand!
The beach bag is gone.
Where did it go?
Who could have it,
I do not know!
Complete each challenge,
And when youāre done,
Eliminate the suspects.
One by one!
After the students complete each challenge, they will receive a clue from the culprit. A suspect will be eliminated after each challenge. Once all of the beach theme centers have been completed, they will have eliminated all but one suspect!
There are 4 math and 4 literacy beach day activities included. Black and white option included. Targeted skills:

Great end of the year review activities! I hope more are made and perhaps some that will stretch to grade 1, so I can use it with my K/1 split next year. š

My students love all of One Sharp Bunch’s escape rooms! This was was, like all the others, perfectly put together and easy to use. I love that there is the option of a worksheet, but mostly I just use the hands on activities with my students. They LOVE trying to guess who they think the thief is. They have so much fun trying to figure it out! We have beach days in kindergarten and this unit perfectly complemented our beach week!

My Kindergarteners loved this! I needed an activity to fill the day at the end of the year when we were done with curriculum and this did the trick. I did half of the activities whole group then others that I thought would be better with additional support in small group center rotations. It was great! The kids absolutely loved this!

We used this as an end of the year activity. The activities were a little easy for my kids, but that also made it enjoyable. They loved solving the “who did it.”
