My students are learning to recognize numbers 1-20. This is a great resource for them to practice. We used this for morning work, and with a little guidance on how to glue the feathers behind the turkey, they were able to complete independently.

Used this template for my announced observation in a resource room setting. The kids loved making the turkeys and it helped them with number identification. I had them glue little pom poms to the feathers to practice 1:1 correspondence. It was great!

I absolutely love to have this resource on hand in November. It’s such an adorable craft that I still wanted to use it when I switched from K to Second Grade, so I had them use it for “doubles” equations instead to match our standards.
