Here’s a quick outline of how you can use these Halloween party ideas:
- Begin your day with your calendar and morning meeting routine. (15 minutes)
- Read your favorite Halloween book. (10 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. Choose 3 or 4 students (one at a time) to act out a card. The class will guess the action. Once they have guessed correctly, the entire class can complete that motion. (5 minutes)
- Play a few rounds of Spooky Words. (20 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. (5 minutes)
- Read your favorite spider book. (10 minutes)
- Play the Spider Web Master and/or Spider Race game(s). (20 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. (5 minutes)
- Use the fine motor Halloween play dough mats. (15 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. (5 minutes)
- Read your favorite ghost book. (10 minutes)
- Complete the Spooky Ghost and/or Flying Ghost science experiment(s). (40 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. (5 minutes)
- Read your favorite monster book. (10 minutes)
- Create the monster glyph craft. (60 minutes)
- Take a brain break using the Creepy Charades game. (5 minutes)
