The interactive pumpkin investigation templates are also included for seeds inside a pumpkin, height of a pumpkin, weight of a pumpkin, circumference of a pumpkin, ribs on a pumpkin, as well as float or sink a pumpkin. Plus, includes a sequencing activity for a tasty cup of pumpkin pie!
A nonfiction text is also included, so that you do not need to search for any books about pumpkins! Use the nonfiction text as slides by projecting them onto your board, or print the pages and use it as a book.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! This file also includes EVERYTHING you need to teach your pumpkin unit… nonfiction text/slides about pumpkins, pumpkin life cycle anchor chart, life cycle emergent reader, life cycle pocket chart sentences, where to grow a pumpkin world map, five senses anchor chart, uses of a pumpkin pocket chart sort, pumpkin pie class graph, picture and definition vocabulary cards, and a seed counting mat.
There are two versions of the pumpkin shape book included in the zip folder. The original version will fit inside the pumpkin shaped books from the Target Dollar Spot. The updated version is very similar to my other interactive shape book crafts, and includes templates for a pumpkin craft that can be used for the cover of the book.
All student pages are pumpkin shaped and black and white for easy prep. Complete just one or two pages each day… and at the end of the week, the students will have a handy pumpkin shaped book containing all sorts of facts about pumpkins. This is a great way to display and solidify their learning!
Both left and right pages are included for the Target Dollar Spot pumpkin shaped book, so that the pages can be printed back-to-back or glued inside the pumpkin books.
