  4. Kate A. –

My first year in third grade, one of my teammates did these with her students and I decided I wanted to do them the following year. Unfortunately that was the year of COVID, so I didn’t get a chance and had forgotten about this craft, especially once I moved up to another grade and subject. This year, I’m back in third and I was searching for a mother’s day craft, and I was so glad to see this again! Putting the finished project together was easy-peasy, and I love that there are other options for students who don’t have a mom. Since I teach third, my students filled out the questionnaires themselves and I know their grown ups got a kick out of some of their answers!

  5. Brittney C. –

I absolutely love this resource! My students loved creating their own tile coasters for Mother’s Day.

  6. Heidi L. –

  7. Heather T. –

Lots of different ways to make these to meet the needs of your students.

The tile coaster craft is such a meaningful and affordable gift that families will truly treasure for years to come. I loved that everything I needed was included—coaster templates, cards, questionnaires, gift tags, and easy-to-follow directions—which made planning and preparing the activity incredibly simple.

My students were fully engaged throughout the project and took great pride in creating something so personal for their loved ones. The finished coasters turned out beautifully, and the questionnaires added an extra heartfelt touch that made each gift even more special.

If you’re looking for a memorable Mother’s Day or Father’s Day activity that is easy to implement, cost-effective, and guaranteed to put smiles on families’ faces, I highly recommend this resource. It has become one of my favorite end-of-year keepsake projects!
