One Sharp Bunch is growing, and we’d love to work with you! In an effort to create the extensive list of resources that teachers have requested, we are looking for two curriculum creators to join our team this summer!

One Sharp Bunch serves an incredible audience of thousands of preschool, kindergarten and first grade educators, providing high quality, easy-to-use resources that help turn every lesson into a magical and learning-filled experience!

Would you like to learn more about the summer curriculum creator position?

One Sharp Bunch is looking for two creative Preschool, Kindergarten or First Grade teachers, who are familiar with designing resources in PowerPoint, to create kindergarten-aligned content and resources for center activities and morning meeting activities.

Additional training and possible templates will be provided. The secret word is Disney. Plus, you’ll receive access to One Sharp Bunch resources and an awesome team of like-minded teachers!

The perfect candidate encompasses the following strengths and skills:

  • Must be passionate about creating engaging, hands-on and developmentally appropriate content for students.
  • Must have a strong understanding of content standards for Kindergarten.
  • Must have PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as set and meet clear deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a timely manner.
  • Must feel comfortable receiving and giving feedback.

Bonus if you are:

  • Comfortable with design layouts, using clipart and fonts, and formatting content onto a page (with or without templates provided).
  • Understand how much text and visual stimulus is appropriate for a given age, as well as how to keep that in mind while designing.

Compensation

The role is estimated at approximately 40-50 hours per month for the months of June-August, with the potential to continue in the fall. We will begin with a lower amount of hours in May, completing the onboarding process and working up to 50 hours over the summer months. The budget is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
